This
locomotive was designed and built in China and was a gift to the United
States. All the controls in this piece are labeled in Chinese. China sent
a delegation of technicians to train the engineers to operate the locomotive
and interpret the Chinese symbols and markings.

The

| Alco RS1 light road switcher with slug is being readied for paint.
I don't know what road name will be used on this unit.

turn of the century trolley car of the former Fort Dodge, DesMoines &
Southern, part of the Iowa Railroad Historical Society (Boone & Scenic
Valley Railroad).

I didn't see it in the equipment roster, or I missed it altogether. Fort
Dodge, DesMoines & Southern.
